Upcoming Changes to Exporting in Pemo and more

What’s changing in Accounting Export (and why it matters) and more exciting changes

In the coming weeks, we’re rolling out a cleaner more advanced Export page. The goal? To give you richer financial reporting and better visibility over every transaction and to help you close your books faster with more detailed and organised spending data. Here’s what to expect: Prefer reading about this exciting release in Arabic? Click here.

🔄 What’s Changing

  1. One central Accounting Export tab

    • A single Accounting Export tab in the main Nav menu with a cleaner, tabbed layout for four export types—including the new “Wallet Movements” tab.

  2. New workflows inside Export:

    • Transactions - View and export all card activity, including purchases, refunds, cashback, and fees. Similar to the old Export Card Expenses, but now with full visibility beyond just purchases.

    • Reimbursements - Export all out-of-pocket expenses in one click—now easier to access under the Reimbursements tab.

    • Invoices - Easily export invoice data for smoother month-end reporting and reconciliation. These are payable bills you’ve received and plan to pay later—either with your Pemo card or outside of Pemo.

    • Wallet Movements (NEW!) Track key wallet activity like top-ups all in one export tab.

3. Greater visibility , less guesswork

  • Instantly see what’s settled, pending, or ready to export

4. Default fee account setting

  • Choose a default account for fees in Settings, and we’ll post them as a separate expense.

✅ Why This Matters

  • Better organised exports

  • Enhanced reporting across categories

  • Built to help your finance team close faster

And that’s not all - more updates will be coming your way

🧭 A new navigation bar—designed for how you actually work

We’re introducing a cleaner, smarter navigation bar to help you move faster and find what you need in fewer clicks.

  • Transactions, Card Expenses, and Reimbursements each have a dedicated space in the sidebar

  • Key actions are easier to reach, with better grouping by task

  • You can customise the menu by pinning your most-used pages for quicker access

  • The layout adapts to your workflow, so it feels like it was built just for you

Why it matters: You’ll spend less time clicking around and more time getting things done. Everything’s right where it should be.

💳 Transactions: A dedicated space for every money move

Until now, Transactions lived inside the Card section. But that made it harder to get a full view of what’s happening with your money.

With this update, Transactions will have their own section. That means:

  • Full visibility of all purchases, withdrawals, refunds, and failed transactions

  • Easier filtering by transaction type

  • Clearer status labels—Pending (previously Authorized), Completed (Cleared), and Declined (Rejected)—so it’s easier to follow what’s happening

  • Clearer reasons for failed transactions—so you can take action instantly and keep spend flowing smoothly.

Why it matters: No more hunting around. Everything is where you need it—clearly labelled and easy to act on.

📌 Card Expenses: Built to match how you actually spend

We’ve separated successful transactions from the noise. Your new Card Expenses view will show only what’s relevant—successful purchases and withdrawals.

Here’s what else is new:

  • A simplified, guided workflow

  • Smart status labels:

    • Missing info (needs action)

    • Pending approval

    • Approved

  • In-app comment notifications for better team collaboration

  • Approvers can now send reminders to team members who haven’t submitted missing info—no more chasing over email or Slack.

Why it matters: You’ll spend less time figuring things out—and more time getting things done.

💸 Reimbursements (formerly Pocket Expenses): New name, same simplicity

We renamed Pocket Expenses to Reimbursements—because that’s exactly what it is.

Why it matters: Clearer wording means less confusion for you and your team.
