With Pemo, you can set custom spend limits, approve categories like restaurants and hotels, and avoid those awkward chats about overspending. Plus, manage everything from our app, where you can block or pause cards instantly. Simple, smart, and flexible—just the way you need it.
Our cards function just like debit cards, drawing funds directly from your Pemo wallet and are powered by Mastercard.
We've got you covered with three different types of cards to suit all your needs:
Physical Cards: Ideal for in-person payments and ATM withdrawals. Delivered within 72 hours.
Virtual Cards: Perfect for online payments like digital marketing campaigns or subscriptions. Instantly usable.
One-time Virtual Cards: Similar to Virtual Cards but offer added security for specific one-time online expenses. Avoid using for recurring charges such as subscriptions. Also usable instantly.
Ordering a card with Pemo is simple and seamless. Whether you're choosing a virtual card for quick access or a physical card for on-the-go purchases, the process is almost identical, with just a few extra details needed for physical card delivery. We've put together easy to follow guides on how to order your first card along with a video.
When creating a new card, you’ll see two tabs: Create card and Advanced controls.
In Create Card, you can select the card type, assign a cardholder, add a label, and set transaction and cycle limits by day, week, month, or year.
Advanced Controls offers optional customizations, like restricting spending to specific merchants or locations and enabling ATM withdrawals for physical cards.
Pemo Power Tip: With Pemo, you get unlimited virtual cards with every subscription plan—even the free one. It’s smart to create separate virtual cards for different online payments, like one for Facebook Ads and another for software subscriptions. This way, you’ll have better control over your monthly budgets and an easier time tracking expenses.
Step 1️⃣ - Head to the Cards Section
Start by heading to the "Cards" section on your dashboard. Once there, click on "Issue card" in the top right corner. This will begin the process of ordering your new card.
Step 2️⃣ - Choose the Type of Card You Want to Order
As we’re creating a Virtual Card make sure to select this.
Pemo Power Tip: With virtual cards you can pick your preferred design to easily distinguish between multiple virtual cards.
Step 3️⃣ - Select the Person You Want to Order the Card For
Choose the cardholder from your list of Pemo users. To issue the card instantly, the user must be verified. Need help verifying new users? Get an overview here
If the person isn’t verified, like "Adrian Quinn" in the below example, they won’t be able to use their card until they complete the process.
Pemo Power Tip: You can easily invite new users to join Pemo when ordering a card! Just hit the blue "Invite+" button, enter their email address, and select their access level. They’ll be added to your list of cardholders in no time!
Step 4️⃣ - Customise Your Card
This is where Pemo really shines in control & flexibility!
Add a Label: Label your card to keep expenses organized. For example, name one "Marketing" for ad spend tracking.
Set a Cycle Limit: Choose a spending cycle—daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Then, set the maximum amount allowed within that period. Leave it blank to keep the default max of 100K AED.
Transaction Limit: Define the maximum amount allowed per transaction.
Advanced Controls: Add extra layers of control to your card settings with our advanced options. Learn more here.
Step 5️⃣ - Ordering Your Card
Finally, click “Issue Card.”
Your virtual card will be created instantly. The cardholder can immediately find all the details in the Pemo mobile app and start using it right away, as long as they’re verified. 🎊
