Our cards function just like debit cards, drawing funds directly from your Pemo wallet and are powered by Mastercard.

Type of Pemo Cards

We've got you covered with three different types of cards to suit all your needs:

• Physical Cards: Ideal for in-person payments and ATM withdrawals. Delivered within 72 hours.

• Virtual Cards: Perfect for online payments like digital marketing campaigns or subscriptions. Instantly usable.

• One-time Virtual Cards: Similar to Virtual Cards but offer added security for specific one-time online expenses. Avoid using for recurring charges such as subscriptions. Also usable instantly.

🧙‍♂️ Guide to Ordering Your First Card

Ordering a card with Pemo is simple and seamless. Whether you're choosing a virtual card for quick access or a physical card for on-the-go purchases, the process is almost identical, with just a few extra details needed for physical card delivery. We've put together a quick video overview and also easy to follow guides on how to order your first card.

Ordering a virtual card

Pemo Power Tip: With Pemo, you get unlimited virtual cards with every subscription plan—even the free one. It’s smart to create separate virtual cards for different online payments, like one for Facebook Ads and another for software subscriptions. This way, you’ll have better control over your monthly budgets and an easier time tracking expenses.

Step 1️⃣ - Head to the Cards Section

Start by heading to the "Cards" section on your dashboard. Once there, click on "Issue New Card" in the top right corner. This will begin the process of ordering your new card.

Step 2️⃣ - Choose the Type of Card You Want to Order

As we’re creating a Virtual Card make sure to select this.

• Pemo Power Tip: With virtual cards you can pick your preferred design to easily distinguish between multiple virtual cards.

Step 3️⃣ - Select the Person You Want to Order the Card For

Choose the cardholder from your list of Pemo users. To issue the card instantly, the user must be verified. Need help verifying new users? Get an overview here

If the person isn’t verified, like "Finance Guru" in the example, they won’t be able to use their card until they complete the process.

Pemo Power Tip: You can easily invite new users to join Pemo when ordering a card! Just hit the blue "Invite" button, enter their email address, and select their access level. They’ll be added to your list of cardholders in no time!

Step 4️⃣ - Customise Your Card

This is where Pemo really shines in flexibility!

• Add an Identifier: Labeling your card helps keep expenses organized—like naming one "Digital Marketing" for all your ad spends.

• Set a Monthly Limit: Leave this blank if you prefer the default maximum of 100K AED.

• Transaction Limit: Control the maximum amount per purchase.

• Tailored Usage: Choose which merchant categories the card can be used for. For example if you check out the screenshot below you can see that we've selected "Government services" which means this card will only work on transactions related to Government services. All other transactions will be declined

Step 5️⃣ - Ordering Your Card

Finally, click “Issue Card.”

Your virtual card will be created instantly. The cardholder can immediately find all the details in the Pemo mobile app and start using it right away, as long as they’re verified. 🎊

Ordering a phsyical card

Pemo Power Tip: You can order one physical card per team member/user.

Step 1️⃣ - Head to the Cards Section

Start by heading to the "Cards" section on your dashboard. Click "Issue New Card" in the top right corner to get started.

Step 2️⃣ - Select Your Card Type

Since we’re ordering a physical card, make sure to select that option.

Step 3️⃣ - Choose the Cardholder

Pick the cardholder from your list of Pemo users. Remember, the delivery process starts only after the user is verified. If the user, like our example "Finance Guru," isn’t verified yet, they’ll need to complete that step before they can use their card.

After selecting the cardholder, input their phone number. The cardholder will then be able to arrange for delivery of their card at a time that suits. The cardholder must be present at the delivery address with a valid EID to receive the card. Need special delivery arrangements? Contact our support team at [e-mail] beforehand.

Pemo Power Tip: Inviting new users to join Pemo is a breeze! Just click the blue "Invite" button, enter their email address, and set their access level—they’ll be added to your list of cardholders in no time.

Step 4️⃣ - Customize Your Card

Here’s where Pemo’s flexibility shines!

• Add an Identifier: Label your card to keep expenses organized—like naming one "Client Lunch".

• Set a Monthly Limit: Leave this blank to use the default maximum of 100K AED.

• Transaction Limit: Set a cap on the maximum amount per purchase.

• Tailored Usage: Select the merchant categories where the card can be used. For instance, in the screenshot below, we’ve chosen "Restaurants" This means the card will only process transactions related to Restaurants, and any other purchases will be automatically declined.

• Enable ATM Withdrawals: Want to allow cash withdrawals? Just toggle it on.

Step 5️⃣ - Issue Your Card

Click “Issue Card,” and your physical card will be on its way. It should arrive within 72 hours—fast, efficient, and ready to use! ⚡
