How to Handle a Fraudulent Transaction on Your Pemo Card

If you notice a suspicious transaction on your Pemo card, follow these steps to review, freeze, or block your card and report the issue.
1οΈβ£ Open the Pemo app and log in to your account. 2οΈβ£ Go to the Expenses tab and select the transaction in question. 3οΈβ£ Review the details, including the amount, date, merchant, and card used. 4οΈβ£ If you donβt recognize the transaction, proceed to the next step.
To temporarily prevent further transactions:
1οΈβ£ Open the Pemo app and log in. 2οΈβ£ Go to the Cards tab. 3οΈβ£ Select the card you want to freeze. 4οΈβ£ Tap Settings, then Freeze Card. 5οΈβ£ Confirm your selection.
If you confirm the transaction is fraudulent, permanently disable the card:
1οΈβ£ Log in to your Pemo account on desktop. 2οΈβ£ Navigate to the Cards tab. 3οΈβ£ Select the card you want to terminate. 4οΈβ£ Click Terminate Card, then confirm your decision.
1οΈβ£ Locate the transaction in the Pemo app. 2οΈβ£ Choose the option to flag the transaction as fraudulent. 3οΈβ£ A form will be presented β please complete it and sign if required.
1οΈβ£ Our team will review the submitted case and investigate accordingly. 2οΈβ£ You may be contacted if additional clarification or documentation is needed.
Important Notes β Customers and admins must confirm that the transaction is truly unauthorized before raising a fraud case. β Signing the form will be considered confirmation that the transaction was unauthorized. β If the transaction is later determined to be authorized, a processing fee may be applied to the account.
