🔐Pemo Integration Permissions with Zoho Books

Pemo prioritizes the security and privacy of your data, with requested permissions solely employed to deliver a seamless integration experience. In order to provide you with the best service, Pemo requires specific permissions to access your selected organization's accounting data in Zoho Books. This document aims to thoroughly explain each permission, ensuring transparency in the retrieval of data and the recording of expenses and bills on your behalf.

Pemo does not automatically transmit data to Zoho Books; instead, user intervention is required, ensuring users have complete control over what information is sent to Zoho Books.

Permissions Overview

Pemo requests the following scopes to interact with your Zoho Books account:

1. ZohoBooks.contacts.READ

   • Purpose: Retrieve customers and vendors.

   • Usage: Retrieve customers and vendors so you can assign them to your expenses and invoices.

2. ZohoBooks.accountants.CREATE

   • Purpose: Create payment accounts.

   • Usage: Facilitate the creation of payment accounts in your Pemo’s accounting setup

3. ZohoBooks.accountants.READ

   • Purpose: Retrieve chart of accounts and payment accounts information.

   • Usage: Retrieve a chart of accounts so you can assign them to your expenses and invoices.

4. ZohoBooks.expenses.CREATE

   • Purpose: Create billable expenses.

   • Usage: Export Card Expenses from Pemo

5. ZohoBooks.bills.CREATE

   • Purpose: Create bills for your Pemo invoices.

   • Usage: Export Out Of Pocket expenses and Invoices from Pemo

6. ZohoBooks.settings.READ

   • Purpose: Retrieve your Zoho Books defined taxes (VAT)

   • Usage: Retrieve taxes so you can assign them to your expenses and invoices.

7. ZohoBooks.projects.READ

   • Purpose: Retrieve your Zoho Books defined projects.

   • Usage: Retrieve projects so you can assign them to your expenses and invoices.
