Paying salaries with Pemo

Payroll pays your team's salaries from your Business Bank Account in one run. You upload a salary file, Pemo checks every row, and the Payment Order Authorizer (POA) authorizes the whole run once. Each salary then goes to the employee's bank account as its own transfer.

Who does what

  • A team member with payroll access uploads the salary file, adds recipients and submits the run. Nothing moves until the POA authorizes it. See Give a team member payroll access.

  • The POA approves each recipient once, then authorizes runs with a verification code, Face ID or a trusted device.

What you need

Payroll is available to every company with an active Business Bank Account.

How a run works

  1. Prepare: upload the file and fix any rows Pemo flags. See Run payroll.

  2. Authorize: the POA authorizes the whole run. You can't authorize part of a run. See Authorize a payroll run.

  3. Pay: a run sent now is processed as soon as it's authorized. A scheduled run pays on its payroll date. See Schedule, reschedule or cancel a payroll run.

  4. Track: follow each run under Transfers. See Track a payroll run and its statuses.

What it costs

There is no payroll fee and no payroll subscription. Each salary is a bank transfer and carries the ordinary Business Account transfer fee: AED 0.50 up to AED 50,000, and AED 1.05 above AED 50,000, VAT included. The Review step shows the total fees before you submit.

Web and mobile

You prepare payroll runs on the web. On the mobile app, the POA can approve recipients and authorize, reschedule or cancel runs.
