Every payroll run appears under Transfers, with a status that tells you where it is. On a scheduled payroll date, a run can be paid in part if your balance runs short, and Pemo tries again for the rest.
Before you start
Who: the POA, or a team member with payroll access. Payroll runs are hidden from everyone else.
Where: web or mobile app.
Find a run
In the left sidebar, select Transfers, then the tab you need:
To authorize: runs waiting for the POA.
Scheduled: authorized runs waiting for their payroll date.
All: every run.
What each status means
Pending authorization: submitted, waiting for the POA.
Scheduled: authorized, waiting for its payroll date.
Processing: the salaries are on their way to the bank. Each salary is sent as its own transfer. Salaries up to AED 50,000 usually arrive within minutes during business hours; above AED 50,000 they go by standard UAE transfer and can take longer, since the bank chooses the payment network, not Pemo.
Completed: every salary has been paid.
Partially completed: some salaries were paid; the rest are still waiting or didn't go through.
Failed: the run didn't go through.
Cancelled: the run was cancelled or rejected before it was paid.
If your balance runs short on the payroll date
At 06:00 UAE time, Pemo pays the salaries your available balance covers, oldest first. The rest stay Scheduled and Pemo tries again at the next run, so add funds to your Business Bank Account as soon as you're notified. A salary the balance can't cover is tried three times: at 06:00 Dubai time on payday, again at 13:00 the same day, and a last time at 06:00 the next day; if the third attempt fails, the salary is marked Failed. Retries run on calendar days, including weekends.
Notifications
Pemo notifies you when a run is waiting for authorization, authorized, sent, failed, cancelled or rejected, when its date changes, and when your balance is short on the payroll date.
