Bill Pay lets you pay your suppliers' invoices straight from your Business Bank Account. You add a bill, Pemo reads it, your approvers sign it off, and your Payment Order Authorizer (POA) releases the payment. Every step is recorded on the bill.
What you need
An approved Business Bank Account. Bill Pay switches on once it's approved.
At least one bill approval policy. See Set up a bill approval policy.
A team member with AP Clerk access. See Give a team member AP Clerk access.
Who does what
AP Clerk: adds bills and vendors, checks what Pemo read, sends bills for approval, then pays them with Pemo or marks them as paid.
Approvers: approve or challenge bills under Requests.
POA: authorizes payments with a verification code or a trusted device. Nothing leaves your account without this step.
Where your bills are
In the left sidebar, select More → Bills. The tabs follow a bill through its life:
To review: added, waiting for the AP Clerk.
In approval: with the approvers.
To pay: approved, ready to pay.
In authorization: waiting for the POA, scheduled, or being processed.
All: every bill.
What it costs
Each payment is a bank transfer and carries the transfer fee: AED 0.50 up to AED 50,000, and AED 1.05 above AED 50,000, VAT included. The fee is shown before you confirm.
Good to know
Pemo pays in AED to UAE bank accounts. You can store a bill in another currency, but it can't be paid with Pemo.
A bill can't be split across several payments.
