Before anyone can be paid through payroll, the Payment Order Authorizer (POA) approves them as a recipient. You approve each person once: the approval applies to every future payroll run, not only the one in front of you. You can approve on the web, on the mobile app, or from the notification Pemo sends you.
Before you start
Who: the POA only.
Where: web or mobile app.
Set up first: the recipient has been added. See Add payroll recipients.
Approve on the web
In the left sidebar, select Accounts. Open the payroll run, or start one from Send money → Payroll.
In the Check rows step, select Approve recipient on a row, or Approve pending recipients for all of them.
Select Verify and approve, then complete your verification.
Approve on the mobile app
Open the payroll run waiting for you.
Select Approve recipients and authorize, then complete your verification. This approves the recipients and authorizes the run in one step.
Approve from the notification
When a recipient is waiting, Pemo notifies the POA. Open the notification to go straight to the recipients waiting for approval, then follow the web or mobile steps above.
What happens next
The recipient shows as Approved, and the person who added them is notified. Runs that include them can now be authorized. See Authorize a payroll run.
