How to replace an expiring or expired card for free

If your card is marked Expiring or Expired, you can replace it from your Pemo dashboard or mobile app in a few clicks for free.

What happens when you replace a card

A replacement card is issued to the same cardholder, and all existing controls, including limits, rules and restrictions, are copied to it.

A Super Admin, Admin or Accountant can edit controls on the replacement card once it is in a status that allows editing. Controls cannot be edited while the card is in delivery, pending approval, pending KYC or KYB verification, issuing, failed to issue, inactive, frozen or terminated.

The old card stays active until 30 days after expiry. It stops immediately if you freeze or terminate it.

Remember to update your card details wherever they’re saved, including subscriptions, online tools, SaaS platforms and recurring payments.
