A transfer you schedule for a future date sits under Transfers → Scheduled until its send date, showing Sending on with the date, or Today, Tomorrow, or a number of days, such as In 3 days. Until it sends you can do three things with it: change the send date, send it now, or cancel it. Each one needs authorization.
Important: what you can do depends on your bill payment role. A Power of Attorney (POA) can change the date, send now or cancel any scheduled transfer or batch. An AP Clerk can change the date or cancel bill payments and payroll runs, but not other transfers, and doesn't see Send now. The steps below are in the Pemo web app, and you can also do this in the Pemo mobile app. The transfer must still show Scheduled: if you see "This transfer is no longer scheduled", it may already be on its way or cancelled. See Transfer statuses explained.
Change the send date
Go to Transfers → Scheduled and select the transfer.
Next to Send date, select Change.
Under Pick a new date for this transfer, keep Schedule for later selected and pick the new Send date. The earliest you can choose is tomorrow and the latest is 12 months ahead. If you pick today or an earlier day, you'll see Please pick a date from tomorrow onwards.
Select Save and authorize and complete the authorization under Authorize the new send date.
You'll see Send date updated, and the transfer stays Scheduled on its new date. Scheduled transfers go out at 07:00 GST on the chosen day, or the next business day if that day is a weekend or a holiday.
Send a scheduled transfer now
Use this when the payment cannot wait for its scheduled date. There is no cut-off time.
Go to Transfers → Scheduled and select the transfer.
Under Scheduled transfer, select Pay now.
On Send this now?, read the confirmation, which says this sends the transfer immediately instead of on its scheduled date and cannot be undone, then select Send now. Sending early costs the same as sending on the scheduled date: AED 0.50 up to AED 50,000 and AED 1.05 above, VAT inclusive, with transfers within ruya free. The fee is shown before you confirm.
Complete the authorization under Authorize this payment.
You'll see Transfer sent. The transfer runs the same checks the daily run does: the bank details are validated and your balance is checked against the amount plus fees. If either check fails, the transfer shows an alert telling you what to fix.
Cancel a scheduled transfer
Go to Transfers → Scheduled and select the transfer.
At the bottom of the transfer details, select Cancel transfer. For a bill payment the action is Cancel payment.
On Cancel this transfer? select Cancel transfer. To back out, select Keep it.
Complete the authorization under Authorize the cancellation.
You'll see Transfer cancelled and the transfer moves to Cancelled. It will not be sent on its scheduled date.
Cancel a whole batch
Transfers submitted together, such as a payroll, open as a batch, showing Total amount, Transfers, Transfer date, Submitted by and Submitted at, with every row under Transfers in this batch.
Open the batch from Transfers → Scheduled.
Select Cancel transfers.
On Cancel these scheduled transfers? select Cancel transfers, or Keep transfers to back out.
You'll see Scheduled transfers cancelled. These transfers won't be sent on their scheduled date, and to send them later you'll need to create them again. To move the batch instead, use Reschedule and pick a new date for all of them.
