How to send money from your Business Account

You can send a one-off transfer from your Business Account to one of your saved company accounts. Pick the account, enter the amount, choose whether it goes now or on a future date, and confirm it with an SMS code.

Important: Send to lists your saved company accounts, so the account must already be saved. See Adding and approving recipients for business account transfers. To pay a vendor, use Pay vendor instead (Accounts > Send money > Pay vendor). Your Business Account needs enough available balance, and you need your registered mobile number to hand for the SMS code. You can do this in the Pemo web app only. To pay a group of salaries in one run, use Run payroll instead.

  1. In the Pemo web app, select Accounts in the left sidebar. On your Business bank account, select Send money, then Send money (Transfer to a bank account).

  2. On Details, choose the saved company account under Send to. If you haven't picked one, Pemo shows Choose a recipient to start your transfer.

  3. Enter the Amount and select Continue.

  4. On Reference, choose the Purpose and add the Reference (optional) that should reach the recipient's bank, then select Continue.

  5. On When (When should it send?), choose Send now or Schedule for later, then select Continue. Send now processes the transfer as soon as you confirm it. With Schedule for later you pick the Transfer date, and the transfer is sent at 07:00 GST (UAE time) on that day.

  6. Check the Review screen: Transfer amount, From, To, Reference, Purpose, Fee, Creation date and Total deducted amount. A transfer to another UAE bank costs a flat AED 0.50 up to AED 50,000 and AED 1.05 above AED 50,000, VAT inclusive, while transfers to another ruya account are free. The fee and total deducted amount are always shown before you confirm.

  7. Select Confirm, enter the OTP sent to your registered number, and confirm.

You'll land on Transfer created. Open the transfer to see its Details and Audit trail. Transfers below AED 50,000 usually reach the recipient's bank within minutes during business hours, though some may be delayed by standard compliance checks. Transfers above AED 50,000 go through an additional manual review by the bank and usually arrive within 2 hours.

Scheduling on a weekend or public holiday

If the date you pick falls on a weekend or a UAE public holiday, Pemo warns you and processes the transfer on the next business working day.
