When you log in to Pemo on the web, we ask for a 6-digit verification code as well as your email and password. The code reaches you by SMS, WhatsApp or email, depending on the method you choose. SMS codes can't be delivered to phone numbers in some countries, including the USA, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong. If your number is in one of them, choose WhatsApp or email instead. If a code still doesn't arrive, contact [email protected].
Before you start: Anyone with a Pemo login sees this step, whatever their role. You can log in on web or mobile. Your phone number and email address must already be on your Pemo profile, because that is where the code is sent.
Choosing how you receive your code
The first time you are asked to verify a login, Pemo shows Set up two factor authentication with the message "To keep your account secure, you'll need to enter a unique code along with your email and password to sign in. How would you like to receive your code?"
Choose via SMS, via Whatsapp or your email address.
Select Next.
If you chose WhatsApp, the code goes to WhatsApp on your phone. It may not appear on WhatsApp Web.
Entering the code
Open the message with your 6-digit code.
Type it into Login verification.
To skip this step on the device you are using, select Remember this device for 30 days before you continue.
If the code does not arrive, select Resend code. The button shows a countdown while you wait.
If the code does not work
Wrong code, please try again means the code was mistyped or has been replaced by a newer one. Use the most recent code you received.
Code verification locked means resending has been blocked after several attempts. Wait 15 minutes, then try again.
Account temporary locked appears after too many failed login attempts. The screen tells you how many minutes to wait.
