Trust your phone once and you can approve every future web login with a single tap from the app, so you skip the SMS code dance every time you sign in. It also keeps your account safer, because logins from any untrusted device need a physical approval from a phone you own.
Part 1: Trust your phone from the web
1. Start on the login page.
2. Enter your email and password.
3. Log in.
4. Go to your profile at the bottom left.
5. Click Devices.
6. On your phone's device entry, click Trust This Device on the right.
7. A code will be sent to you by SMS, and also by email in case you don't receive the text.
8. Enter the code and select Trust This Device.
Part 2: Approve login from your phone
9. Log back in with your email on the web page. You'll be given the option to approve the login from your phone.
10. Open your phone. You'll receive a notification asking to confirm the login.
11. Tap the notification, and you'll be logged into your phone.
12. You'll see a page on your phone where you have to enter the same code you see on the webpage. Enter it to approve the login, then confirm.
You have now approved the login from your phone.
