Cash Accounts let you track cash withdrawals and reimbursements through individual accounts in your accounting software. To export cash transactions, every member in your company must be linked to a cash account.
When you export, an ATM withdrawal goes out as a fund transfer from the company wallet to the member's cash account. A reimbursement goes out as an expense from the spender's cash account.
Before you start: You set this up in the Pemo web app, in Accounting export.
Select Accounting export in the left sidebar, select Settings above the table, then Default accounts.
Under Cash Accounts, select Edit (the pencil icon).
In Choose cash accounts setup, pick one option and select Next:
Single cash account: link or create one account for all cash transactions for all members.
Manual account matching: link or create a cash account for each member manually.
Link an existing account from your accounting software or create a new one, for all members or for each member.
Good to know
Pemo asks you to link every member to a cash account until the setup is complete.
You can change the setup later. Switching the matching method removes all existing cash account links, so Pemo asks you to confirm with Switch, or with Use single account when you move to a single cash account.
To run the setup again later, open the Cash Accounts settings menu (⋮) and select Reinitiate setup wizard.
