Important: Your Visa card will terminate on March 31 and cannot be used after this date. Any transactions attempted with this card after March 31 will be declined. To avoid disruption, make sure you upgrade your card and update your card details anywhere they are saved before this date.
Upgrading your Visa card to a Mastercard is free and only takes a few steps.
When you upgrade, a new Mastercard is issued to the same cardholder. Your existing card controls are carried over, so you can keep using your card settings without starting from scratch.
What happens when you upgrade a card
When you upgrade your card:
A new Mastercard is issued to the same cardholder
All existing controls, including limits, rules, and restrictions, are copied to the new card
You can edit these controls at any time on the new card
Your old card will:
Stay active until March 31st or
Stop immediately if you freeze or terminate it
Important
Once your new card is issued, make sure you update your card details anywhere your old card is saved, including: Subscriptions, Online tools. SaaS platforms and Recurring payments
How to upgrade your card on desktop
Go to Cards
Click Action needed
Find the cards marked as Visa
Select the card you want to upgrade
Click Upgrade now
If you are upgrading a virtual card, choose your card colour and confirm
If you are upgrading a physical card, simply confirm

Go to Cards
Tap the All tab
Tap Action needed
Select the Visa card you want to upgrade
Tap Upgrade now
