Connecting Pemo to Wafeq brings your chart of accounts, contacts and VAT rates into Pemo, and lets you export expenses to Wafeq when you choose, so you do not enter the same data twice.
Before you start
In Pemo, you need to be an Admin or Accountant. In Wafeq, sign in as the Owner or an Admin to approve the connection. You can do this on web.
Have these ready:
Your Wafeq login credentials, with 2FA if enabled
The correct company account if you manage multiple entities
A designated Cash or Wallet Account in Wafeq, or create one during setup
Decide how you will map the following:
Chart of Accounts (expense categories)
Vendors / Contacts
VAT rates
Departments or Cost Centers
If you don't already have a payment account for your Pemo wallet, you can create one directly in Pemo during setup.

Use an existing account in Wafeq
For example, you can use a dedicated "Pemo Wallet" bank/cash account. Select it from the list in Pemo.
Create an account in Wafeq first
In Wafeq, create a bank/cash account for Pemo Wallet.

You can update your payment account anytime in Accounting Settings.
You can also switch on Copilot as part of your setup for your expense fields to be automatically categorized.
Data sync from Wafeq to Pemo
After you connect Wafeq, Pemo automatically imports your Chart of Accounts, Vendors / Contacts, VAT rates, and Departments or cost centers. You can then use these synced values when categorizing expenses, ensuring your categories match Wafeq's structure.
You're ready to go
Once connected, you can categorize expenses using Wafeq's chart of accounts and VAT lists, export transactions directly to Wafeq with receipts, and reconcile your Pemo wallet quickly and accurately.
