Updated over 2 months ago

Understanding your card status helps you know exactly where things stand and what to do next. Here’s a quick guide to each status you may see in Pemo:

Active

Your card is fully ready for use.

  • You can make payments and track spend in real time.

  • All transactions will be visible instantly in your Pemo dashboard.

👉 No action needed. You’re good to go!

Pending Approval

Your card request has been submitted but needs approval from your company admin.

  • The card will remain inactive until the admin confirms.

  • You’ll be notified once it’s approved.

👉 Next step: Wait for admin approval.

Pending Company Verification

Your company account details are being verified before issuing cards.

  • This is a one-time process during onboarding.

  • Cards will only be activated once verification is complete.

👉 Next step: Ensure your company documents are submitted correctly.

Pending User Verification

Your personal details are being verified before activating the card.

  • This may include ID checks to meet compliance requirements.

  • Until then, your card can’t be used.

👉 Next step: Upload any required documents via Pemo.

Pending Delivery

Your physical card has been created and is on its way.

  • You’ll receive updates once it’s dispatched.

  • Virtual cards, if issued, remain active immediately.

👉 Next step: Wait for delivery.

Pending Activation

Your card has been delivered but needs to be activated.

  • This ensures the right person is using the card.

  • You’ll find activation steps in your Pemo dashboard.

👉 Next step: Follow the activation process in the app.

Frozen

Your card has been temporarily disabled.

  • This could be due to security reasons or admin restrictions.

  • No transactions can be made until it’s reactivated.

👉 Next step: Contact your admin or Pemo support to resolve the issue.

Terminated

Your card has been permanently deactivated.

  • It can no longer be used for any transactions.

  • This may happen if the card was replaced or cancelled.

👉 Next step: Request a new card if needed.
