How to handle a fraudulent transaction on your Pemo card

We’ve made it easy to fix declined payments. Here’s how:

  1. Select the declined transaction filter

    Head to your "Transactions" tab and click on the "declined" quick view and then click on your declined transaction. You’ll immediately see why it failed from it's status—whether it’s low wallet balance, limited based on card controls or more.

  2. Follow the suggested action

    Click the transaction and you’ll be guided on what to do next. For example:

    • Low top-up? You’ll be prompted to top up or request funds.

    • Policy issue? Request approval from your admin.

    • Card limit reached? Adjust limits or retry after changes.

  3. Spend again

    Once resolved, you’re back on track. Easy.

We notify the spender directly when a transaction fails, so they can take action right away—no back-and-forth needed.
