After Pemo reads a bill, check what it found, choose the vendor and approval policy, and send the bill to your approvers. Nothing is paid at this stage.
Before you start
Who: a team member with AP Clerk access.
Where: web or mobile app.
Set up first: an approval policy, and the bill added to Pemo. See Set up a bill approval policy and Add a bill to Pemo.
Review and send
In the left sidebar, select More → Bills → To review, then open the bill.
Under Vendor, choose the vendor, or select New Vendor to add one. See Add a vendor.
Check the amount, invoice number, invoice date and due date against the document.
Choose the Approval Policy.
Select Send for approval.
Send for approval stays greyed out until the vendor, the required fields and the policy are all set. The amount must be more than 0, the invoice date can't be in the future, and the due date must be after the invoice date.
Delete a bill
While a bill is in To review, you can delete it with the bin icon at the top of the bill. This can't be undone.
What happens next
The bill moves to Pending approval and your approvers are notified. If Pemo spots a possible duplicate or a bank detail mismatch, you see a banner on the bill. See Payment checks: duplicates, bank details and first payments.
