How to create a CSV template for downloading your transactions

CSV templates let you control how exported data appears in a CSV file. Reorder, rename, and select columns to keep exports consistent with your ERP or preferred report layout.

Where to find templates

Go to Accounting export → Settings → CSV templates.

Types of templates

  • Pemo universal: the default, ready-to-use template that you cannot edit.

  • Your own templates: create and save as many as you need, such as one for ERP imports and one for monthly reporting.

Templates work for all users, even without an accounting connection.

Creating a CSV template

  1. Go to Accounting export → Settings → CSV templates.

  2. Click New template.

  3. Under Template name, enter a name, then click Next.

  4. Under Template type, choose Blank template or Existing template, such as Pemo universal, then click Next.

  5. Under Template Settings, choose a Date format, such as dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy, and choose whether to keep Include header row. Click Next.

  6. Under Map your columns, click Add column, choose a Pemo field, such as amount, VAT, vendor or exchange rate, and set its name under Export as. Repeat for each column.

  7. Drag the columns to set their order.

  8. Click Create template.

Tip: You can create multiple templates for different uses, such as one for your ERP upload and another for internal reporting.
