Wallet Forecast uses recent spending patterns to look ahead at your company’s wallet coverage. It lets you know early if the company wallet might run low.
Before you start: This article is for Team Members, who can’t top up the company wallet. Wallet Forecast is available to beta customers only.
What is Wallet Forecast?
Your Pemo card is funded by your company’s shared wallet.
Wallet Forecast predicts your wallet coverage over the next 10 days based on your recent spending. It shows how many days your balance will last, which upcoming transactions might fail, and a recommended top-up amount and date.
If everything is on track, you don’t need to do anything. If the wallet is likely to fall short, Wallet Forecast tells you in advance.
Why it matters to you
Your card draws from the company wallet, so a low balance can affect your payments even if you didn’t cause it.
Wallet Forecast gives you a heads-up while there’s still time to act. This helps keep your card working when you need it.
Where you’ll see it
Wallet Forecast appears in a few places:
On your Home page: A Wallet Forecast card shows your status and, when relevant, which payments are at risk. Select Predicted payments to see the full list.
At the top of the screen: A short alert appears when payments need attention.
In your notifications: You may receive a push notification, email, or in-app notification when the forecast changes.
Understanding the alerts
Wallet Forecast uses color to show how urgent things are:
Green, you’re covered: The wallet can cover your predicted payments. No action is needed.
Orange, heads up: The wallet may run low in the next few days. Nudge your admin.
Red, action needed: One or more payments may be declined as soon as tomorrow. Notify your admin immediately.
What to do when you see a warning
Only admins can add funds to the company wallet. Your role is to flag the warning early:
Open the Wallet Forecast card on your Home page.
Select Predicted payments to see which payments are at risk and when.
Notify your admin so they can top up the wallet in time.
Once your admin tops up the wallet, you’re set.
After your admin tops up
Wallet Forecast refreshes automatically when the wallet is topped up.
You’ll see a confirmation that the wallet has been topped up, and your card is ready to use again.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Can I top up the company wallet myself?
No, only admins can add funds. If you see a warning, notify your admin.
How often does the forecast update?
It refreshes regularly and again after the wallet is topped up, so what you see stays current.
Why did I get an alert if I’m not an admin?
Your card is funded by the shared wallet, so a low balance can affect your payments.
A payment was flagged but went through fine. Why?
Wallet Forecast is a prediction of your wallet coverage over the next 10 days, based on your recent spending. A flagged payment may still go through fine, because the forecast is a prediction, not a guarantee.
