How to track changes made to my card limits or controls

Updated this week

Every card has an Audit Trail. It shows a full history of changes to your card’s limits and controls. Showing the below

• What changed and previous values
• When the change happened

Who made the change
• Complete history of card updates in one place

Where to find the Audit Trail

  1. Go to Cards.

  2. Select the card you want to review.

  3. Open the Audit Trail tab.

  4. Review the list of updates.

  5. Click any update to open a detailed view of what changed.

What you can track in the Audit Trail

You’ll see changes made to:

  • Spending limits

  • Transaction limits

  • Allowed locations

  • Merchant category controls

  • Card freeze and unfreeze actions

  • Card replacements

Extra for pre-funded cards

If your card is pre-funded, you can also track:

  • Amounts made available to spend

  • Amounts removed from the card

What you won’t see here

The Audit Trail does not show:

  • Spending history

  • Transactions

To view those, go to the card’s Activity tab.

How to read the update statuses

Each change will show one of these statuses:

  • Card update requested

  • Card update approved

To see the exact limit or control that changed, open the change request.

That detailed view shows the before-and-after values.

When the approver is shown as “System”

If the approver is System, the change was auto-approved.

This happens when your company’s approval policies allow it.

Quick tips

  • Use the Audit Trail when you need a clear record of who changed what, and when.

  • Use Activity when you need to check what was spent, and where.
