Understanding your monthly card limit

Your card limit covers both spending and ATM withdrawals. Whatever you spend on the card and whatever you withdraw in cash come out of the same limit.

Your card usage is tracked over the spending cycle you choose for the card: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. A single-use card's limit covers its whole life and never resets.

Monthly card limit

Pemo calculates your card limit monthly, because approval policies are set monthly. The cycle you chose for the card still applies. On the card's Limits tab, Monthly card limit shows your Spending limit and your Average monthly limit.

Card limit

The per-card transaction limit is AED 50,000 by default. It can be adjusted up to AED 1,000,000, but never above the card’s own cycle limit.

Spending limit

If your daily spending limit is AED 10,000, you can use your card for business expenses up to that amount each day.

Your chosen spending cycle determines when the limit applies.

Withdrawal limit

ATM withdrawals can never go above these limits set by Pemo's card issuer, whatever your card's own limit:

  • AED 10,000 per transaction

  • AED 20,000 per day, across up to 8 withdrawals

  • AED 35,000 per week

  • AED 70,000 per month

New cards start with an ATM withdrawal limit of AED 100 a month if your company's plan includes ATM withdrawals.

ATM withdrawals and your card limit

Every ATM withdrawal counts towards your card limit. The ATM caps above apply on top of it, so a withdrawal must fit within both.
