Transaction tab overview

Updated over 2 months ago

No more digging through card details just to track down a single payment. Transactions now have their own dedicated space—making it easier than ever to manage your team’s spend.

What you’ll find in your transactions tab

You’ll see every type of transaction in one place, including:

  • Purchases

  • Refunds

  • Cashback

  • Chargebacks

  • Top-ups

  • Withdrawals

  • Card checks

We built this upgrade to give you faster, clearer visibility into your company’s expenses.

Understanding the transactions view

The new transactions tab gives you a clear, at-a-glance view of all spend activity. Here’s a breakdown of the key columns and filters to help you navigate like a pro:

1 & 2 Quick filters

Jump straight to the data you care about:

  1. Pending transactions – see any payments that haven’t gone through yet

  2. Declined transactions – instantly view failed transactions with reasons and next steps

3. Transaction status

Track the outcome of every payment:

  • Completed – the transaction went through successfully and the funds were transferred as expected

  • Reversed – the transaction was cancelled or refunded; the funds were not deducted or have been returned

  • Pending – the transaction is still being processed; no action is needed unless it stays pending too long as 7 days.

  • Declined – the transaction failed (click the transaction for more details and how to fix it)

4. Approval status (based on your company's approval policies)

See where each transaction stands in the approval flow:

  • Approval needed – it’s outside company policy and requires approval

  • Not needed – it’s within policy; no approval required

  • Approved – the transaction was reviewed and approved

5. Transaction type

Understand the nature of each transaction:

  • Purchase – a regular card payment

  • Card check – a test charge by the merchant to verify the card

  • Top-up – funds added to your Pemo wallet

  • Refund – money returned by the merchant (the original transaction will still appear inside Pemo)

  • Withdrawal – cash taken out from an ATM
