Who can complete business verification?
Only an account admin completes the company application. For each shareholder, the admin either fills in their details in the app or sends them a secure link to add their own. If the admin is the only shareholder, they fill in their own details in the app.
Does a shareholder need a Pemo account?
No. They open the private link from their email in a web browser.
What can a shareholder see through the link?
Only the details and documents requested from them. The link does not give access to the company's Pemo account.
Which files can I upload?
JPG, PNG, PDF or DOCX. Each file can be up to 20 MB, and you can upload up to five files at once.
Do I need to press Submit?
Not on the shareholder page. Each detail or file saves on its own, and the page confirms when everything requested is complete.
A document failed to upload. What now?
Select Retry on an additional document that failed to process. A failed upload is different from a rejected document. Rejected documents must be replaced.
Why is my checklist different from another company's?
The checklist depends on the application type and the jurisdiction where your trade licence was issued.
My trade licence was renewed. What should I do?
Tap the red banner in the Pemo app and upload the renewed licence. Its expiry date then replaces the stored date.
Can a shareholder use their phone?
Yes. The private link opens a responsive page in a mobile browser.
